With the release of the new X32 firmware version 2.0, we not only significantly improved the workflow, but also added new capabilities, including "Acoustic Integration", ensuring full compatibility and control of loudspeaker systems and in-ear monitors (IEMs). We then completely redesigned over 50 built-in FX plug-ins and added classic "True Physical Modeling" processor examples. In addition, we've made the X32 even more flexible, with interchangeable expansion cards for connecting to other multi-channel audio networks via USB, ADAT, MADI and Dante protocols, as well as built-in ULTRANET and AES50 connectivity. The X32 Producer offers the user a full range of 17 long 100mm motorized servo faders for mixing control. Working with the 5” TFT display, the sliders perform many functions while informing the user about it. Separate fader sections for inputs and groups/buses allow convenient assignment of inputs to groups/buses. The X32 Producer Channel Bar places the most important channel processing parameters in one section so that no matter which channel you are working on, the controls are always the same. This highly efficient chip is the result of decades of Behringer console design and input from our users. Optimized control lighting provides a clear indication of levels or status from any viewing angle. Illuminated encoders and rotary switches allow you to control preamp settings, frequency shelving, dual dynamics sections, as well as multi-mode fully parametric EQ, bus sends, master, mono and stereo panning.
DCA (Digital Controlled Amplifier) groups allow you to control several signals simultaneously, without having to mix them with the subgroup bus. The X32 Producer's 8 DCA Groups allow you to control multiple signals with a single fader, such as the entire drum mix, brass section, backing vocalists, etc. The DCA controls affect the FOH mix while keeping individual busses unchanged. The result is a customizable workflow that provides maximum flexibility, but still allows individual busses and subgroups to fulfill the purposes for which they were intended, such as sending zones, broadcasting TV, etc.
In X32 Producer you will find strategically placed View buttons related to various functions. These buttons give you instant access to information about a function. For example, when you press the View button in the Equalizer section, that channel's EQ information is instantly displayed on the main screen, providing detailed editing of all related parameters. Direct access to visual tuning gives the engineer a level of control previously only available on consoles costing much more.
The Assign section allows you to create shortcuts to your favorite views or parameters. Buttons can be defined to enable/disable parameters, adjust effect timing by tapping, or go to specific screen views.
