NAD C338 + NOTA 260X

NAD C338 integrated amplifier

NAD expands its Classic series with the latest C 338 hybrid digital integrated amplifier. This model combines all the most important elements of an advanced music system, allowing you to play music from virtually any source. The built-in phono preamplifier allows you to connect a turntable with an MM cartridge, and wireless communication modules allow you to transmit sound from music services, Internet radio, Google Cast and UPnP (Wi-Fi), and thanks to Blueetooth support, ensuring sound quality close to CD quality, also from mobile devices. devices, e.g. smartphone or tablet. Bluetooth connectivity can be used to listen to other sources connected to the C 338 via wireless headphones.

Of course, C 338 is prepared to work with devices still in use. Line inputs allow you to connect any analog source and at the same time eliminate the risk of deterioration of sound quality associated with improper loading of the source device. In addition, the C 338 is equipped with an advanced low-impedance headphone amplifier with very high voltage efficiency - parameters sufficient to drive even high-impedance studio headphones. The device's versatility is enhanced by low-impedance line outputs, to which you can connect subwoofers to easily increase the power of the reproduced sound.

Despite its low height, which makes it easier to place the device in very limited space, the C 338 delivers 50 W power per channel (8 Ω or 4 Ω). This value allows you to ensure a high music volume level in even quite large listening rooms. The power supply used provides 160 W of continuous power and can generate over 300 W in a fraction of a second to reproduce the most demanding musical details with ease and precision.

EISA "BEST VALUE" AMPLIFIER 2017–2018

EISA justification:

“NAD is known for small but efficient amplifiers that pack a powerful punch. However, the C 338 also offers something more, something completely new. It is the world's first stereo amplifier, compatible with Chromecast, transmitting music from most websites via a mobile application. Inputs of almost all standards are available - optical, coaxial, analog linear, with MM phono correction, up to Bluetooth. Class D amplifiers deliver 50W per channel, and the headphone output has a dedicated circuit. At this price, we cannot find a worthy competitor for the C 338.”

NAD C338

NAD C338 is an integrated amplifier which, thanks to the technological and design solutions used, ensures unprecedented flexibility of the audio system. One device contains all the elements that a modern music listener is looking for. The C338 features built-in Chromecast, class D amplification carefully developed using specially modified Hypex UcD output stages, an advanced D/A converter, a rich set of analog and digital inputs, a high-class phono preamplifier and a headphone amplifier. The whole is complemented by audio streaming from Bluetooth devices. The high-class device is confirmed by the "AMPLIFIER BEST VALUE EISA 2017-2018" award.

NAD C338

Sound. Precision. Power.

The interior of the C 338 features specially designed systems using a modified version of the proven Hypex UcD output stage. This solution allows for excellent precision of the reproduced sound and considerable power, free from distortion and noise. Despite its low height, which makes it easy to position the device even in confined spaces, the C 338 delivers 50 W of power per channel (8 Ω or 4 Ω). This value allows you to ensure a high music volume level in even quite large listening rooms. The power supply provides 160 W of continuous power and can generate over 300 W in a fraction of a second to provide the amplifier with enough energy to freely reproduce even the most violent fortissimo, while agilely responding to the smallest musical details.

NAD C338

Chromecast built-in

NAD C338 is the world's first amplifier with built-in Chromecast service that allows you to stream music. Thanks to this service, you can use your phone to indicate a music source, e.g. from a website, and the amplifier will take care of the rest, without using up the battery or transfer on your smartphone. Chromecast offers compatibility with all cloud music services available in Poland (Tidal, Spotify, Deezer, music from Google Play).

Chromecast

Music via Bluetooth™

Thanks to the Bluetooth® module integrated into the amplifier, the C 338 can wirelessly connect to any smartphone, tablet or Bluetooth-enabled device within range to seamlessly stream high-quality music from your favorite music apps.

Analog music from vinyl

The C 338 is equipped with the best-in-class phono preamplifier supporting MM cartridges. It features precise RIAA equalization with a wide distortion margin, exceptionally low noise level and an innovative low-cut feedback filter. Its task is to eliminate harmful acoustic feedback between the gramophone cartridge and the loudspeakers. This solution guarantees much higher sound quality than the built-in preamplifiers found in some turntables.

Indiana Line Note 260

Indiana Line Nota 260 is the most mature of the three stand-mount loudspeakers from the Nota series. Increasing the dimensions of the housing made it possible to use a 166 mm woofer. The result is even more powerful sound, which we usually don't expect from such a compact speaker.

The designers remained faithful to the 2-way design. The high frequency range is supported by a 26 mm silk dome. The loudspeaker is placed inside a ventilated chamber and driven by a neodymium magnet. The second transducer uses a unique diaphragm made of a mixture of mica and polypropylene. This material is characterized by high stiffness and allows for extremely low distortion levels. All this translates into a clean, natural sound, with strong, deep bass, open and detailed midrange and delicate highs.

When you first encounter the Note 260 speaker, it's hard to believe that it is so affordable, especially considering the high-quality finish. This model uses a casing made of MDF board, which is reinforced with internal rings for stiffening. On the outside, the designers used a thick vinyl veneer, which gives the whole thing an elegant look.

Note 260 X

Indiana Line Nota 260 X

Indiana Line is one of the most important Italian brands that offers loudspeakers and installation loudspeakers. The brand's traditions date back to 1977. The goal of engineers and designers working for Indiana Line from the very beginning has been the highest quality of workmanship combined with the rational use of components. This approach allows the speakers to achieve sonic values that go far beyond those achievable in a similar price range.

Note – structures that will last for years

The timeless shapes of the Indiana Line speaker cabinets from the Nota series confirm the craftsmanship of Italian design. Stylishly profiled side panels are finished with an aesthetic and at the same time durable vinyl coating in light walnut or black oak. The Nota 260

The largest stand-mounted design from the Nota series

Indiana Line Nota 260 The low-midrange transducer is distinguished by a long linear diaphragm travel. The bass reflex port in the Nota 260 X model is located at the back. This structure was intended for medium-sized listening rooms (up to 20 m2). It will work perfectly in a classic stereo system wherever there is no space for large floor standing speakers. The Note 260 X has a load impedance ranging from 4 to 8 ohms, and the dedicated amplifier power to power it should be between 30 and 100 W.

Micro-grooving and more

The Nota series loudspeakers use various technical solutions that allow them to obtain high-quality sound. Similarly to the lower stand-mount models from the Nota series, the woofer diaphragm in the Nota 260 X model also has micro-grooves. It resembles the one found on CDs. This transducer allows for the reproduction of a soft and warm-sounding midrange, and at the same time provides powerful processing of low tones. The tweeter dome with a neodymium magnet and a unique radial damping chamber used in the Nota 260 Moreover, the tweeter filter uses only air coils and foil capacitors. This makes the processed sopranos extremely transparent.

The most important features of the Nota 260 X model:
