8K compatible HDMI connections
Yamaha designers have equipped the MusicCast RX-V4A receiver with a set of HDMI connectors (4 inputs/1 output) compatible with 8K/60 Hz resolution. Thanks to this, the device will be able to serve as a home entertainment center for many years, to which the user can easily connect even several sources supporting 8K resolution at the same time, e.g. game consoles. The HDMI ports also support lower resolutions, including, of course, 4K/120 Hz. 8K support requires an update to the receiver's software. To fully enjoy 8K resolution, you must also have access to a compatible TV.
Compliance with HDR10+ and other modern standards
The HDR10+ standard stands out for its support for dynamic metadata, which sets it apart from other standards that only support static metadata. As a result, information is provided about the characteristics desired by the filmmakers not only of the entire production, but also of individual scenes, including: in terms of contrast between light and dark parts. Support for the HDR10+ standard will be introduced by updating the receiver's software
Features designed with PC gamers in mind
The Yamaha MusicCast RX-V4A receiver has been enriched with the latest technologies used, for example, in new consoles. The device uses, among others: ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate). Thanks to the first one, the console can send information to the receiver and TV that automatically activates the gaming mode. This mode is distinguished by no lag and improved display. When you switch the source, e.g. back to a movie, the ALLM function is automatically disabled. The second solution, VRR, is a mechanism used in games that eliminates tearing of image frames and minimizes delays, and also adjusts the refresh rate to maintain image smoothness. Together with two additional functions, QMS (Quick Media Switching) minimizing signal delay when switching and eliminating a momentary black screen, and QFT (Quick Frame Transport) limiting the delay when transmitting image frames, the RX-V4A receiver becomes a fantastic proposition for gamers who expect high sound quality in games and while maintaining key functionalities from the player's point of view that affect image quality. Functions designed for gaming are made available via software update, and a compatible TV is required to operate them.
Completely new design
What catches your attention when you first encounter the RX-V4A is its completely new design. Gently rounded sides combined with an attractively integrated display and a small number of buttons and knobs give the receiver a noble character, while maintaining ease of use and quick access to all important functions of the device.
Fully redesigned amplifier design
The Yamaha RX-V4A, like the RX-V6A model, is distinguished by a fully redesigned amplifier section, featuring, among others, high rate of input voltage rise. Thanks to this, and thanks to the power of 80 W per channel (8 Ω), the receiver provides powerful and dynamic sound, both for movies and music. The new amplifier also guarantees more precise signal transmission in the case of high-res audio.
Yamaha MusicCast multiroom system and network functions (including AirPlay 2)
An important element of the RX-V4A is the proprietary MusicCast system, thanks to which you can, among others: send music from the receiver directly to devices in other rooms and vice versa. The receiver is also equipped with numerous network functions: built-in streaming services (including Spotify and Tidal), internet radio, AirPlay2 support and two-way Bluetooth, dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 / 5 GHz).
Possibility to connect wireless rear speakers (MusicCast Surround)
A practical convenience in the RX-V4A is support for the MusicCast Surround function. Thanks to it, you can wirelessly connect MusicCast 20 or MusicCast 50 speakers to the receiver as rear surround speakers. This solution eliminates the need to run cables from the receiver to the rear speakers, which allows you to enjoy the full capabilities of the home theater system while maintaining the aesthetics of the listening room.
Operation via remote control, MusicCast application or voice assistants
In addition to the remote control supplied with the device, the receiver can be operated using the free, Polish-language MusicCast application. Voice assistants can also be used to control the RX-V4A (their availability may vary depending on the region and requires a device with a built-in microphone, e.g. a smartphone or speaker with a built-in voice assistant).
A wide range of connectors
The receiver allows you to connect almost any sound and image source. The device is equipped with a USB port (on the front), a network port, as well as coaxial and optical digital inputs and three pairs of analog inputs.
Yamaha NS-F51 freestanding speaker
The Yamaha NS-F51 is a 2-way free-standing loudspeaker. This advanced design features three drivers, a 30mm dome tweeter and two 160mm woofers, and uses a bass reflex enclosure. Thanks to this, the column provides high-quality, clear sound with incredibly strong bass.
The NS-F51 model perfectly fits modern flat screen TVs with large diagonals and home theater systems that work with HD sound sources. The column convinces not only with the purity of sound, but also with its elegant design, which visually makes the space in which it is placed more attractive.
Yamaha NS-P51 speaker set
The Yamaha NS-P51 is a loudspeaker set consisting of the NS-C51 center speaker and two NS-B51 stand-mounted effect speakers. The set perfectly matches modern flat-screen TVs, and combined with the free-standing NS-F51 loudspeakers allows you to create a high-quality home theater system. Thanks to this, you will easily be able to enjoy high-quality sound of movies and music from any source, including HD devices.
The rounded edges of the housings limit the possibility of diffraction, thanks to which the reproduced sound remains clean and clear. The center speaker, model NS-C51, uses two 100 mm woofers and a 22 mm dome tweeter. Each effect speaker is equipped with a 100 mm woofer working with a 22 mm dome. There are special holes on the rear walls of the center and effect speakers that enable quick and safe hanging of the speakers on the wall.
